30th September earmarked for confirmation of MDCE nominees in Savannah Region

News around Savannah Regional Coordinating Council (SRCC) under the leadership of Hon. Saeed Muhazu Jibril say the SRCC has scheduled to start the confirmation of Municipal and District Chief Executives (MDCE) nominees in the Savannah region on 30th September, 2021. The exercise is expected to start at Daboya, the North Gonja district capital.

A total of seven (7) municipal and district Chief Executives were nominated for the various assemblies in the Savannah Region by President Nana Akuffo-Addo. Two(2) females occupy the Bole and Sawla-Tuna-Kalba districts respectively whiles five (5)males got nominated for North Gonja, North East Gonja, Central Gonja, West Gonja and East Gonja assemblies.

Three (3) incumbent Chief Executives were retained with four ( 4 ) new appointments.

According to the information available to www.padfm.com.gh, the confirmation of the president’s nominees will begin on Thursday 30th September, 2021, with North Gonja District at 9:00am, West Gonja municipal Will have her Program at 1pm same day and the exercise is expected to end on 6th October, 2021, with Sawla -Tuna – Kalba district at 9:00am and Bole District at 1pm.
