A delegation of the leadership of the NPP has on 23rd September, 2021, represented the party at the final funeral rite of His Eminence Shaikh Imam Ali Umaur (late) of Salaga.
It was announced to the general public on Wednesday, 14th September 2021, the demise of the Sheikh of Islam. Per the Muslim tradition and practices, people from all walks of life graced the mourning ceremony to pay their last respect to the stewardship of the late Islam Scholar.
A delegation from the leadership of the NPP led by Chairman Ussif Alabi complemented the occasion with a number of youth from the NPP.
The Former MP for Salaga South and Savannah Regional Minister, NPP first Savannah Regional Vice Chairman and former DCE for East-Gonja Assembly, The MCE nominee for East-Gonja Assembly, the Presiding Member of EGMA, the 2nd Vice Chairman, the Youth Organizer and the Deputy Organizer of the NPP were some personalities in the company of Chairman Ussif Alabi.
The leader of the bereaved family acknowledged and expressed appreciation for the support given by the NPP during the funeral.
