The Hon. Municipal Chief Executive for the West Gonja Municipal Assembly, Musah Karim Kusubari has been unanimously elected as the Savannah Regional representative for the National Association of Local Authorities of Ghana (NALAG).
Musah Kusubari succeeds former Central Gonja district Chief Executive, Hon. Mustapha Mahama as Savannah regions representative.
Hon. Musah was elected at the NALAG regional delegates conference held at Damongo in the Savannah regional Capital on Tuesday, 18th January, 2022, where all the MDCEs, Presiding Members and some selected Assembly Members in the Savannah region agreed without any opposition that Musah Kusubari leads the region as their NALAG representative.
In his acceptance speech, Musah Kusubari Karim thanked the national executive committee for organizing a successful conference in the region and also expressed gratitude to the delegates for the confidence on him by electing him to the position unanimously and promised to represent them appropriately towards the development and growth of the region.
He commended Hon. Mustapha Mahama for a good representation over the years and pledged to continue from where he ended .
