The West Gonja Municipal Chief executive, Hon. Musah Karim Kusubari has handed over a rehabilitated pick up belonging to the West Gonja Municipal Education Directorate after some maintenance and rehabilitation works on the vehicle by the member of Parliament for Damongo, Samuel Abu Jinapor.
He handed over the vehicle on behalf of the member of Parliament for Damongo who beared the total cost of the rehabilitation works of the vehicle after his attention was drawn to the fact that the vehicle was not in good shape and not serving it’s purpose to the Education Directorate.
This was the pick up that was given to the West Gonja Municipal Education Directorate under the Presidency of former President John Agyekum Kufour in 2007.
The vehicle was recieved on behalf of the Municipal Director of Education by the Deputy Director incharge of finance and administration, Mr. Dramani Katribi, Assistant Director in charge of planning, Mr Adam Sulemana, and the PRO of the Municipal Education Directorate, Mr. Samuel Akuka among other officers from the Municipal Education Directorate with Mr. Dramani Katribi thanking the MP for his kind gesture and remarked that, they will be knocking on his door steps as usual for additional support especially with regards to fuel for monitoring and supervision.
He opined that the member of Parliament has been a great inspiration to the GES office and they will, like Oliver twist, always ask for more from him.
