Two officials of the saboba District Assembly have been reported died in a road accident on the Tamale – Yendi road in the Northern Region on Monday, August 14, 2023.
According to reports, the two officials who died in the accident were the Saboba District coordinating director, Mr. Zakaria Abdulai and the district’s internal auditor, Mr. Bakari Ganiw.
The reports further indicated that the accident happened as the two were travelling for an official duty.
The mortal remains of Zakaria Abdulai was taken to his hometown, Bole for burial whiles that of Bakari Ganiw taken to Damongo his hometown for burial according to the customs of the Islamic religion.
Two vehicles including a white pick up the late officers were supposedly using had been badly damaged.
