Madam Mabel Judith Micah, the Director of Education for the Savannah region has called upon WASSCE candidates participating in the 2023 exams at Damongo Senior High School and Ndewura Jakpa SHTS to maintain their focus and perform well in their examinations.
During her visit to the two schools in the Damongo Municipality on Wednesday, 23rd August, 2023, Madam Micah, the regional education director emphasized the importance of adhering to exam guidelines and putting in dedicated effort in their learning process to achieve successful outcomes.
She expressed her satisfaction with the ongoing West Africa Senior School Certificate Examinations at the two public senior schools visited.
Describing her monitoring visit as fruitful, Madam Micah shared her intention to extend similar visits to schools across each district within the Savannah region to ensure smooth progress of the examinations.
This year’s WASSCE commenced nationwide on July 31, 2023 with practical components, followed by English Orals on August 23, and the remaining subjects scheduled to be completed by September 23, 2023.
