Hon. Fatahia Mohammed, the Women’s Organizer for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Savannah Region, highlighted the party’s readiness for the 2024 elections and its commitment to women’s empowerment during a radio interview with Radio PAD on Saturday, March 30, 2024.

In her remarks, Hon Mohammed Fatahia expressed gratitude to the women’s wing in the Savannah Region and Damongo constituency for their dedication and preparation for the upcoming elections. Emphasizing the importance of women’s involvement in campaigning for the NPP, she stressed that opposition is not an option for the party.

“We have done a lot for that reason women should support the party,” Hon Fatahia affirmed, citing the NPP’s track record of implementing policies and initiatives that support women’s advancement. She compared the NPP’s accomplishments to “gold,” contrasting them with what she termed as “nothing” from the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC).

Highlighting the NPP’s achievements, Hon Mohammed Fatahia pointed to youth employment, the Free Senior High School (SHS) program, technological advancements, and various social interventions. She urged every citizen to vote for NPP presidential and parliamentary candidates, emphasizing the party’s commitment to improving lives through its ideologies and philosophies.

Hon Fatahia also called for support for Hon. Lawyer Samuel Abu Jinapor, the NPP parliamentary candidate for the Damongo constituency, praising his inclusivity and dedication to serving all constituents regardless of their political affiliation. Describing him as a national icon, she emphasized the party’s focus on serving the people, especially women and children.

Addressing challenges such as the impact of COVID-19 on the country and businesses, Hon Fatahia acknowledged the external hurdles but reiterated the NPP’s determination to overcome them. She highlighted the party’s efforts in technological advancement, including providing laptops to SHS students as part of its digitalization agenda.

In conclusion, Mohammed Fatahia urged Ghanaians to vote for the NPP to safeguard the progress made and continue the party’s work of improving the lives of all citizens.
