Damongo, 6th June, 2026 – Dramani Bashiru Amantana is set to formally declare his intention to contest for the position of Savannah Regional NDC Communication Officer. As part of steps to the official declaration, Bashiru Amantana acknowledged the critical role of the media in promoting democracy, transparency, and development within the Savannah Region, while commending media practitioners for their dedication to informing, educating, and amplifying the voices of the people.

He noted that the Communication Officer position will provide an opportunity for him to share his vision and engage stakeholders on issues of public interest.
Mr. Amantana expressed his commitment to working closely with the media and other partners to advance the development of the region, and called for continued cooperation and support in building a more informed, united, and progressive Savannah Region.
