Four communities in the Bole-Bamboi Constituency are set to benefit from improved educational infrastructure following a sod-cutting exercise by the Member of Parliament and Deputy Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, Alhaji Yusif Sulemana.

The beneficiary communities—Bodi, Daboyiri, Kakiase and Mankuma—will receive new classroom facilities aimed at strengthening access to basic education and improving learning conditions for school children.

At Bodi, the MP cut sod for the construction of a three-unit classroom block to fulfill a campaign promise made ahead of the 2024 elections, while commending residents for mobilizing funds to secure land for the project.

In Daboyiri, he highlighted a community-driven initiative where temporary classrooms were established in partnership with a local church, with volunteer teachers supported through personal funding from the MP. Some of these schools, he noted, have since been absorbed by the Ghana Education Service.

The tour also took him to other communities where he inspected ongoing and planned projects, including a six-unit classroom block with a library at Mankuma and reconstruction works on dilapidated structures.

He further pledged to use his share of the MP’s Common Fund to renovate deteriorating school buildings and provide furniture to improve teaching and learning.

The MP emphasized the transformative role of education in his life and reaffirmed his commitment to expanding opportunities for children across the constituency.

The visit was attended by local authorities, traditional leaders, assembly members, party leadership, and other stakeholders, with residents appealing for additional support in water and road infrastructure.
