Speaking at a ceremony to commission the new office, paramount chief of the Kpembe traditional area, Kpembewura Banbagne Ndefeso IV, applauded DVLA for its innovative approach towards getting all vehicles and other motorcycles properly registered

“This new number plate registration scheme is very innovative and I believe it will be well executed to benefit all Ghanaians “

The Kpembewura appealed to vehicle owners and especially motorbike owners to take advantage of the proximity of the office to register their vehicles and motorcycles”

Chief Executive Officer of DVLA, Julius Neequaye Kotey, cautioned the public against patronising unapproved agents and warned against engaging in fraudulent registration activities, which have been a challenge in the past.

He stressed that DVLA will continue to open new offices to deal with all the bottlenecks in the vehicle registration processes

“We have opened over 20 offices since 2025 and hoping to open at least 50 schools by 2028. We remain committed to bringing our offices to your door steps to ensure easy access”

For her part, member of parliament for Salaga south, Hajia Zuweira Ibrahima, expressed gratitude to DVLA for responding promptly to the request for an office in salaga.

“We are not only bringing these offices, we are bringing relief and jobs to the people “

“DVLA is one of the entities that has been working assiduously to bring relief to customers and I wish to commend the CEO and his team for working together in that regard “

The new office is expected to bring much-needed relief to drivers and motor riders who previously had to endure long journeys to Tamale or Wa to access basic DVLA services.
