The Mp for Damongo, Samuel Abu Jinapor has on Thursday, 27th April, 2023 supported the children at Redemption Children home in Damongo with food items and others.
The items presented included 40 bags of rice, 40 bags of maize, 40 packs of drinks, 40 packs of tissue, 4 boxes of washing powder, 4 boxes of keysoap, packs of diapers for babies, 4 boxes of tin tomatoes amongst others.
The Municipal Chief Executive for West Gonja, Musah Karim Kusubari who presented the items on behalf of Abu Jinapor commended the proprietor and staff of the Redemption children’s home for their hardwork, dedication and sacrifices in ensuring the smooth running of the facility and indicated that the donation was to mark the 40th birthday of the MP which was celebrated some few days ago.
According to him, the MP is so passionate about the welfare of children and therefore committed to continue to support them at all times and asked that the continue pray for the guidance of God in all endeavors of the MP.
The proprietor of the Redemption children home, Pastor Abraham Lermu Saaka expressed gratitude for the kind gesture shown them by the MP and said, the donation would help immensely to alleviate the plight of the children and improve their living conditions.
He also expressed gratitude to God for seeing the MP through to 40 years on and prayed for protection and guidance for him in the coming years.
The MCE was accompanied by the NPP constituency deputy Organizer, Alhaji Rambo, Constituency Communication Director, Mr. Iddrisu Laminu and Mr. Bawa Fuseini, coordinator for the office of the MP.
