The Catholic Bishop for Muenster Diocese in Germany, Most Rev. Dr. Felix Genn together with the Catholic Bishop for Damongo, Most Rev. Peter Paul Angkyier have blessed a newly built Catholic Guesthouse Facility in Damongo and opens it for use.
The blessing cum inaugural ceremony was held at the premises of the new Catholic Guesthouse facility on Friday, 17th February, 2023 at Damongo.
The New facility has the capacity to accommodate thirty four ( 34 ) guests adding up to an existing twenty four ( 24 ) capacity Guest rooms at the old Guesthouse block bringing the total number of guests rooms at the Damongo Catholic Guest house to fifty eight ( 58 ).
The occasion was graced by the Catholic Bishop of Muenster, Most Rev. Dr. Felix Genn and a delegation from the Muenster Diocese in Germany and the Catholic Bishop of Damongo, Most Rev. Peter Paul Angkyier and priests from the various parishes of the Damongo Diocese.
The new Catholic Guesthouse Edifice is co- funded by the Catholic Dioceses of Muenster and Cologne, all in Germany.
