The vice president of the Savannah Regional house of chiefs and paramount chief for the Buipe Traditional area, his royal majesty Buipewura Abdulai Jinapor II has called on local media houses in the savannah region to support the region’s representative in this year’s Tv3 Ghana most Beautiful pageantry show.
In an engagement with the media at his royal palace at Buipe on Friday, 15th July,2022, the paramount chief said, they as traditional rulers in the Gonja kingdom appreciates the efforts of the media and the important roles the play towards the development of the region.
He added that, the introduction of the social media concept across the world has opened up to them the values and importance of the media hence the reason he’s calling on the media to join hands in the fight to win this year’s GMB crown.
He appealed to the media to use their various platforms to market the contestant to the world and also solicit for support for the region’s rep in the 2022 GMB pageantry.
Buipewura Jinapor II also urged the various media houses in the region to make spaces available for some social media interactions by team members of the contestant on her performances and activities as the program progresses adding that, their mediums together with others should also be used to galvanize for votes for Hariya to ensure that she brings the crown home.
Savannah region’s 2022 GMB rep, Miss. Yussif Achone Hariya is 20 year’s old and hails from the Buipe Traditional area in the Central Gonja District of the Savannah region and had her elementary education at Buipe Miracle preparatory School and Angel Education Complex in Kumasi.
Miss. Hariya proceeded to the Yaa Asantewaa Girls SHS for her second cycle education and
Currently studying Bachelor’s Degree in information at the University of Ghana Legon.
