Wasipewura Anyame Kabasagya II has successfully installed the new Yazoriwura for the Wasipe traditional area of the Gonja Traditional Council on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at Daboya.
This became possible after the Takorape sub gate settled on one family sub chief called Kpantariguwura Adam Takora.
The nomination was pronounced on Friday, February 4, 2022, and installation done on February 5, 2022.
The need for a new Yazoriwura became necessary after the demised of late Yazoriwura Dambol some four (4) years ago.
About Yazoriwura Adam Takora
Yazoriwura Adam Mahama Takora was born to the late Kumasichewura Pumpuni Mahama Adam and Madam Agya Yaa on 17th March, 1961.
He is the 7th born among the 22 children of his father but 5th among the children of his mother.
Yazoriwura Adam Takora was first nominated as Kpantariguwura and was eskined on 15th November, 2018.
Until his nomination and subsequent installation, he occupied the tittle skins of the Kpantariguwura.
Yazoriwura Adam Takora is a farmer, listener and good leader. He has seven (7) children, four (4) females and three (3) males.
The Yazoriwura is the next highest skins occupancy title directly following the Wasipewura. Anytime Wasipewura travels off Daboya or Wasipe traditional area, the Yazoriwura, with support from all the sub chiefs take care of the area until he returns or otherwise.
