Savannah Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Prof. Kalamonia (Alhaj Iddrisu Sulemana), has congratulated all newly elected Constituency Executives in the Savannah Region following the party’s internal elections, stressing that there are no winners or losers because the NPP is the ultimate winner. He said the successful completion of the elections reflects the party’s strong democratic tradition and the confidence delegates have placed in the newly elected leaders.
Prof. Kalamonia, in a statement released on Sunday, 12th july, 2026, urged the new executives to immediately foster reconciliation by reaching out to their colleagues who were unsuccessful in the elections and involving them in the party’s activities. He emphasized that unity, teamwork, and collective commitment are essential for strengthening the party and positioning it for victory in the 2028 general elections under the leadership of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, calling on all members to remain focused on the common goal of advancing the NPP in the Savannah Region.

A MESSAGE OF UNITY AND CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL ELECTED CONSTITUENCY EXECUTIVES IN THE SAVANNAH REGION.
Fellow Patriots,
The internal democratic processes of our great party within the Savannah Region have successfully concluded. Today, we stand tall not as victors over one another, but as a stronger, more resilient New Patriotic Party (NPP) family.
First and foremost, I wish to extend my warmest and most heartfelt congratulations to all newly elected Constituency Executives across the length and breadth of the Savannah Region. Your election is a testament to the trust our delegates have reposed in your leadership, your dedication, and your commitment to service.
In this contest, there are no winners and no losers—the ultimate winner is the NPP.
Now that the ballots have been cast and the decisions made, the time for internal competition is officially over. The task ahead of us is monumental, and it requires all hands on deck.
“An elephant cannot walk on one leg.” True strength lies in our absolute unity.
Therefore, I strongly urge and charge all newly elected executives to take the first proactive step toward peace and reconciliation: reach out immediately to our brothers and sisters who did not win. Extend a hand of fellowship, embrace them, and bring their valuable ideas and energies on board. Their passion for the party is just as strong, and we absolutely cannot achieve our goals without them.
We must remember that our true political opponents lie outside our ranks. Our shared and supreme focus now must be channeled toward building a formidable, unbroken front. Together, we will work tirelessly to secure a resounding and historic victory for His Excellency Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and the NPP in the 2028 General Elections.
Let us demonstrate leadership of service and show the entire nation that the Savannah Region is united, focused, and ready to break new ground for the NPP.
