In a festive gathering at Sir Martin’s Memorial School, the Chair, esteemed partners, guests, dedicated parents, and enthusiastic teachers came together to celebrate the spirit of Christmas and reflect on the essence of life. The occasion aimed to instill in the young pupils the true meaning of Christmas and the importance of gratitude, love, and service to others.

Addressing the audience, Madam Joan Ewuntomah highlighted the significance of Christmas as a time for joy, happiness, and spreading warmth. The message emphasized the value of life, good health, and the light that shines in every heart, regardless of life’s challenges.

The speaker encouraged attendees to embrace positivity, hope, and joy while fostering a sense of sharing, love, and forgiveness during this festive season.

The school’s holistic approach to education, blending the national curriculum with the British Curriculum, was emphasized as a means to shape well-rounded individuals.

The pedagogical focus on learning by doing was showcased through a practical demonstration during the event, illustrating the school’s commitment to providing the best opportunities for its pupils to know God, realize their potentials, and become future leaders.

Looking ahead, the school announced upcoming events to close the year, including the much-anticipated 2023 dinner and awards night for teaching and non-teaching staff on December 28th.

Additionally, the school plans to organize a Village Outreach on December 30th, 2023, aiming to bring joy and awareness to the pupils by highlighting the importance of generosity and sharing. A donation box will be set up for contributions towards this noble cause.

As the year draws to a close, the management and teachers expressed their hopes to successfully conclude all planned programs. The message extended warm wishes for a fruitful end of the year, a joyous and spirited Christmas, and a successful New Year to all members of the Sir Martin’s Memorial School community. The speaker concluded by invoking a blessing for everyone involved.

The Sir Martin’s Memorial School continues to stand as a beacon of hope and learning, dedicated to shaping not only educated individuals but compassionate and responsible future leaders.
