The Savannah Regional Minister, Hon. Saeed Muhazu Jibril, has predicted an effortless triumph for the incumbent Damongo Member of Parliament, Lawyer Samuel Abu Jinapor, in the upcoming December 7th, 2024 elections.
Speaking at an event held in Damongo on Saturday, February 17th, 2024 to acclaim Abu Jinapor as the NPP parliamentary candidate for the Damongo constituency, Hon. Saeed Jibril confidently predicted an overwhelming victory for Samuel Abu Jinapor.
Taking a swipe at the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) candidate, Hon. Jibril advised them to redirect their limited resources elsewhere, as he deemed victory for Jinapor inevitable.
He further forecasted a significant surge in the vote margin, from 2,300 in the 2020 elections to over 7,000 votes in 2024, attributing the opponent’s tardiness in campaigning as a substantial disadvantage.
Highlighting the robust presence of the NPP in the region, the Savannah regional Minister rallied party members to maintain unity and exert concerted efforts toward securing victory in the upcoming 2024 General Elections.
Expressing unwavering confidence in Jinapor’s capacity to retain the seat effortlessly, Minister Jibril rated him 4.5 stars and declared him the preemptive winner, emphasizing that there is minimal competition for the Damongo constituency.
