The Constituency Communications Director for Salaga South has called on all stakeholders of the NPP to see to it that people with good-standing membership and diehard supporters composed executives of polling stations.
In a one-on-one interview with the political host of a community-based radio station in Salaga (Kanyiti F.M), Mr. Hamza Abdul-Mumin Harruna called for a solid and comprehensive unity among the rank and file of the NPP in Salaga South, since cracks and unnecessary divisions will jeopardize the fortunes of the party in elections. He called on the electoral area coordinators to ensure that the 5-member executive committee of a polling station covers all the catchment areas or sectional areas of a particular polling station.
The Communications Director for Salaga South earnestly called on the electoral area coordinators to ensure that the selection of polling station executives is evenly distributed to cover a wide area of a polling station. He condemned the practice of selecting two or more people from the same house or family.
Mr Hamza finally cautioned the constituency executive aspirants to conduct themselves within acceptable code of conducts of the NPP. According to him, nomination forms will be made available for interested candidates to afford at a reasonable cost and from the right source in due course.
