NPP’s Bawa Abdul-Razik (DOSHIE) from the Salaga South Constituency of the Savannah region is calling on all party faithfuls to endorse the “Peoples’ Campaign” started by Musah Superior, a former MCE for Tamale Metropolitan assembly in the first term of Nana Akuffo-Addo and the current Deputy CEO of Forestry Commission, Ghana.

Bawa believes that political activism is the rail on which myriads of political ambitions and or dreams are properly nursed. That is to say, government, its operative systems and personnel travel on it for proper administration of the State.

Musah Superior is an established political activist in the New Patriotic Party. He is an institution whose sweats and toils helped positioned the party in the Northern region and beyond. During his early days as a Party communicator, he and other few young persons such as Dr Mohammed Amin Adam alias Anta, now MP for Karaga and Deputy Minister of Energy and Dr Mustapha Hamid now CEO of NPA were leading advocates; speaking to the issues to galvanize support for our great Party in Northern Region. Musah Superior is a foundation member of the party. He played an active role in the activities of the then Busia/Danquah Club which became NPP in July 1992. He mounted platforms, chaired rallies and organized meetings at the time the activities of the New Patriotic Party and other opposition Party’s were literally outlawed in Northern Region.

Musah Superior strived to perfect the party at the slimmest opportunity given; his drive to see a better and an inch-perfect NPP made him contest for position of National organizer in 2005 and sadly lost to Lord Commey.

In 2012, he set out to deliver the Tamale Central seat for the New Patriotic Party; to cap a political life well lived, he hoped, amidst NPP’s hopelessness and lackluster in pursuance of Tamale Central constituency. He lost, but his commitment and activism only grew stronger. He became Special Assistant to the Party’s General Secretary from 2014 to 2015. This attainment, palpably, was borne out of his hard work, grassroot organization and unmatched commitment.

The penultimate confidence the party reposed in him was when he became Senior Campaign Aide to Candidate Akufo-Addo in the 2016 electioneering period. President Akuffo-Addo appointed the Mayor of Tamale in 2017—a responsibility he carried out to his utmost best. During his tenure as Mayor, he made Tamale enviable to other urban areas of the country; discipline, peace, serenity and development were strictly restored —no wonder he won an international award for being an outstanding Mayor.

Musah Superior’s loyalty to our Party is huge. He is a smart activist and an intelligent communicator. His assertiveness is his strength. He is bold, courageous and honest. He is a rare breed of a political brain, a gem, a disciplinarian and a man whose ingenuity is built on universally acceptable principles, values and protocols.

Currently, he is the Deputy CEO of Forestry Commission, a position that is both fitting and rewarding for a man of his political and administrative prowess.

He has luanched the Peoples’ Campaign asking for our mandate to serve as General Secretary of our great Party. And has been articulating his vision in his reach out programme. Let’s support him to secure the job and change the status co which has proven to be unfit for purpose.

Musah Superior breathes development in freedom, his veins are filled with the NPP party colors, his daily activities are entwined with NPP’s activities; a walking face of New Patriotic Party —for our party enviable tradition to endure, for our political life to live beyond this electoral phase, we direly need Musah Superior’s unquenchable superiority at the National Secretariat; we need him, more than he needs as our General Secretary — help choose him, help choose a glittering future for NPP!
