RE:DESIST FROM THE POLITICAL VICTIMISATION OF QUALIFIED POPULATION AND HOUSING CENSUS(PHC) RECRUITS OR WE WITHDRAW FROM COOPERATION
My attention has been drawn to a propaganda piece been circulated by one Maleek Basintale; the NDC’s Accra based savannah regional communications officer which sought to create a wrong impression about the recruitment process for the population and housing census for 2021.
While I was busy yesterday organizing to make sure the West Gonja Municipality gets the best of data for development and other purposes, this NDC’s Accra based officer was running around social media with his usual propaganda for political gains.
Let me state on authority that nothing like discrimination whatsoever happened in the Damongo municipality. People were selected based on merit and not political, ethnic or social considerations and thus far everything has been successful without a hitch. If the Accra based communications Officer thinks he can score cheap political scores from hearsays, sorry we’ve gone past those times.
I’m inviting him to come down to Damongo so I can take him to the training grounds and pin point NDC polling station executives and well known ndc activist to him, we didn’t recruit them because they are NDC members but because of their competence.
We are focused on assembling the best team to work for GSS and Partisanship has never been our criteria for selection.
I therefore, will like to entreat well meaning Ghanaians to treat with contempt the propaganda piece from the Accra based NDC’s communications Officer. It’s their usual antics to derail our collective efforts at building this Region and country together.
