The 2026 edition of the Miss UBIDS Beauty Pageant ended in spectacular fashion on Sunday, April 12, 2026, as Amevor Vidal emerged as First Runner-Up and winner of the coveted Most Influential award.

The event, held at the auditorium of the University of Business and Integrated Development Studies (UBIDS), featured a vibrant display of culture, creativity, and youthful energy, attracting students, faculty, and invited guests.

Contestants

Contestants thrilled the audience with impressive performances, but Vidal distinguished herself with exceptional poise, confidence, and eloquence. Her ability to connect with the audience and articulate impactful ideas earned her the Most Influential crown, cementing her place among the night’s top performers.

In a brief interview after the event, Vidal described her achievement as a stepping stone in her pageantry journey.

“This is just the beginning for me. The Miss UBIDS platform has given me the confidence and exposure I need to grow,” she said.

When asked how she intends to use her influence, she emphasized her commitment to mentorship and social impact.

“I want to work with other young women, inspire them, and also give back to society through meaningful projects that will make a difference.”

Vidal also called on individuals, organizations, and corporate bodies to support her vision.

“I am open to partnerships and support that will help me pursue impactful projects for both the university and the wider society.”

As First Runner-Up, she received a prize package that included a cash award, certificates, a pack of bottled water, and a rice cooker.
