Kpembewura Bismark Banbagne IV has indicated that, he has duly accepted the MCE nominee for the area and pledged his support for him.
The paramount chief for the Kpembe Traditional area made this remarks when the MCE nominee paid a courtesy call on him at his palace together with constituency executives of the New patriotic party on Saturday 13th November, 2021 led by Chairman Alabi to officially introduce the MCE nominee, Hon. Richard Broni to Kpembewura and to pay homage and allegiance to him as custom demands.
The Mabugniwura per the traditional protocols officially presented Mr Richard Broni to Kpembewura and his kinsmen as the new MCE nominee for the East Gonja Municipal Assembly who was nominated by H. E. President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to replace Hon. Mohammed Tamimu.
The Kpembewura on his part indicated that he had already been briefed of his appointment as MCE nominee for the area.
He commended the leadership of the NPP for such a move made to bring Hon. Richard Broni to his palace for official introduction.
The Kpembewura used the opportunity to give a fatherly counsel to the nominee and urged him to exhibit a sense of maturity and professionalism in his responsibilities and dealings so as to accelerate development in the area.
The Kpembewura declared his support as paramount Chief for the area to the nominee and accepted his nominations as MCE for the area as nominated by the President of the Republic. There was life and joy by the few youth that gathered at the palace of Kpembewura to welcome the nominee.
