The Paramount chief for Buipe and President of the Buipe Traditional Council, HRM Buipewura Abdulai Jinapor II has admonished Chiefs in all newly created Traditional Councils in the savannah region to be reminded that having a Traditional Council does not make a Traditional Area autonomous from the Gonja Kingdom.
Buipewura Abdulai Jinapor II made this call to the chiefs at the inaugural ceremony of the Buipe Traditional Council on Saturday, 28th January, 2023 at the Jinapor Palace in Buipe.
He also appealed to all the newly created Traditional Councils to continue to be remain loyal to the Gonja Kingdom of which the Yagbonwura Prof. Sulemana Tuntumba Boresa I is King and Overlord.
While expressing his unflinching appreciation to the Minister for Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs for the honor done to his Traditional area, he also used the occasion through the Acting Chief Director of the Ministry of Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs to extend his invitation to the Minister for Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs to join him celebrate his 15th year as Buipewura and 75th birthday all to be this year.
