Fire raised down the entire private residence of the NPP Savannah regional Chairman, Alhaji Iddrisu Sulemana widely known as Professor Kalamonia at Gumani in Tamale.
The incident happened on the afternoon of Sunday February 11th, 2024 in Tamale
The whole edifice was burnt down together with
properties.
Ghana National Fire Service rushed to the scene but got little to do to stop the damage
The cause of the fire is not immediately known as fire service is still conducting investigations.
Speaking to Damongo based PAD FM 95.1mhz on Monday sunrise morning show, Kalamonia’s aide, Saburu Kantama Kanyiti confirmed the incident and said the good news is there’s no life lost but all properties in the house were razed down.
Earlier, Professor Kalamonia confirmed the incident when he wrote “I’ve just been informed that, fire has razed down my residence in Tamale-Gumani this afternoon. Everything thing has been lost to the fire”, he explained on his Facebook page.
