The Member of Parliament for the Bole–Bamboi Constituency and Deputy Minister of Lands and Natural Resources, Hon. Yusif Sulemana, has inspected several ongoing development projects in the Bole District to ensure quality workmanship and timely completion.
The inspection tour began at an ongoing road construction site in Bole, where the MP engaged management and workers of Sharapova Construction Limited. He assured the contractor of the government’s full support, noting that his office would work closely with relevant stakeholders to facilitate smooth execution of the project.

Hon. Sulemana disclosed that contracts for the Wenchi-Bamboi–Tinga–roads and Bole township roads have been awarded and contractors have already moved to the site. He recalled that roads in the area had suffered years of neglect but emphasized that the current administration is committed to rehabilitating and constructing critical road networks across the constituency.
He further revealed that President John Dramani Mahama cut the sod for the Bamboi–Bole–Sawla–Wa road project about two months ago, with contractors now actively working on site.
The MP stressed that contractors would be closely monitored to ensure adherence to timelines and quality standards, warning that any contractor who fails to deliver satisfactory work would be held accountable.
Hon. Sulemana later visited the Bole Affordable Housing Project site, where the first phase is expected to deliver twenty-two-bedrooms housing units. Subsequent phases of the project will include the construction of storey buildings to further expand housing capacity.
He explained that the Ministry of Works and Housing, through the Office of the President and the Ghana Housing Home Ownership Fund, is implementing the project to address the growing housing deficit and improve infrastructure in the district.
The initiative is primarily aimed at providing decent accommodation for public servants and residents.
A contract for the project has been awarded to Bilkis Limited. Under the first phase, the company will construct 20 fully detached two-bedroom houses, complete with internal facilities and essential amenities. The second and third phases will introduce additional housing units, including high-rise buildings.
The project is expected to generate employment opportunities for local artisans while providing affordable and quality housing for residents and government workers.

Hon. Yusif Sulemana urged the contractor to maintain high standards and complete the project on schedule, reiterating that poor performance would not be tolerated. While assuring the contractor of government and community support, he cautioned that contracts could be reassigned if expectations were not met.
He emphasized that no development project in the district should be allowed to delay, stating his readiness to speak out against any attempt to stall progress.
He also encouraged residents to continue supporting government initiatives aimed at improving infrastructure and living conditions in the Bole District.
The Lands and Natural Resources deputy minister also visited the 24hours market construction center where reconstruction processes have begun.
He commended the chiefs and people for resolving to allow the Bole Assembly to pull down structures and build a modern market for the community.
Community members expressed gratitude to the MP and Bole Assembly for amicable resolution of their relocation.
