MP for Damongo and Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, Lawyer Samuel Abu Jinapor has donated a brand new Mitsubishi pick up vehicle to the education directorate in the savannah region to enhance supervision in the area.
The brand new pick up vehicle was handed over to the Regional Education Directorate when he joined his Constituents to mark this year’s independence day celebrations at Damongo on Monday, 6th March, 2023 in fulfilment of a promise made to the directorate some months ago.
The Damongo lawmaker explained that, the savannah region is one of the poorest when it comes to educational standards which he said has been a worry to him as Member of Parliament and a public figure from the region in which spirit he modestly arranged for the pick up to the educational outfit of the savannah region to intense supervision which is absolutely important when it comes to enhancing educational standards.
He commended the regional education Director for her tiredless service, dedication and the work she is doing to uplift education in the region.
He jointly handed over another brand new pick up to the Ghana TVET service with the Savannah regional Minister on behalf of Government and assured that in not too distant future, the West Gonja Municipal Directorate of education will also be adequately equiped to be able to engage in the right supervision that is required to enhance the educational standards in the Municipality.
