In a groundbreaking move to address longstanding developmental challenges, Lawyer Abu Jinapor, the dedicated Member of Parliament for Damongo constituency, is overseeing the construction of the largest drain in Ngbaripe.
This initiative aims to alleviate the risks posed by a perilous gutter near Almanara Primary School, which has plagued the community for a decade.
Back in 2018, Lawyer Abu Jinapor took the first step by installing metal bridges over the hazardous gutter to ensure safe passage for residents.
Recognizing the pressing need for a comprehensive solution, he pledged to address the underlying issue and safeguard the numerous houses along the gutter from potential destruction during heavy downpours.
The ongoing construction of the expansive drain is a testament to Abu Jinapor’s unwavering commitment to fulfilling promises made to his constituents.
The project is strategically designed to divert excess water away from residential areas, preventing the potential devastation that could be caused by heavy rainfall.
The contractor is currently working tirelessly to complete the project before the onset of the rainy season.
Yussif Seidu Arimiyaw, a member of the NPP, recently visited the construction site, interacting with the local community.
Residents expressed their gratitude to MP Abu Jinapor for his continuous service and dedication to improving the lives of the people in the Damongo constituency.
As Ngbaripe eagerly awaits the completion of this vital infrastructure, the community remains hopeful and extends their heartfelt appreciation to Lawyer Samuel Abu Jinapor for his proactive measures in ensuring their safety and well-being.
