The Ghana National Petroleum Corporation ( GNPC ) has completed a 12 unit sanitary facility for the Tamale teaching hospital( TTH ).
The Executive Director for the GNPC foundation, Dr. Dominic Eduah (PhD) explained that Patrons and relatives of patients at the Tamale Teaching Hospital (TTH) have had to grapple with the challenge of hygiene due to the absence of adequate sanitary facilities to serve them during visits.
The hospital’s administrators heaved a sigh of relief when the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC) handed over the new 12-unit toilet facility to alleviate their plight.
Handing over the keys at a brief ceremony, the Executive Director of the GNPC Foundation, Dominic Eduah (PhD), said the facility like many scattered across the country is a further testament to GNPC’s position as a development partner to the Northern Regions.
He expressed satisfaction with the quality of work and tasked the managers of the facility to ensure its proper use.
Receiving the facility on behalf of the hospital, Mr. Emmanuel Donkor (Esq.), Director of Administration at the Tamale teaching hospital (TTH) recounted several other supports received from GNPC and expressed the hospital’s gratitude for the project.
He further courted for more assistance to enable the hospital serve the people of Tamale and it’s environs better.
