A Nigerian businessman based in Damongo, Mr Emeka Aloh has on Sunday, 19th December, 2021, donated some food items including rice, cooking oil among others to widows in the West Gonja municipality of the Savannah region.
In an interview with padfm.com.gh after the donations, Mr Emeka explained that he got motivated into supporting the vulnerable considering where he found himself and that the gesture was just a way of giving back to society what he has been blessed with as a business man in the area particularly the widows.
The CEO of Emylink enterprise and entertainment added that, though he does not have enough, but he sees the need to support the less privilege with donations to the widows which forms part of his annual give back to society project to put smiles on the faces of vulnerable widows in the society who might not have the opportunity to enjoy the Yuletide.
The donations were made to the widows at the church of Pentecost Assembly where Mr Emeka Aloh worships.
Mr Emeka has over the past years made it a vow to assist the vulnerable widows to celebrate christmas and has called on others to emulate his gesture because it’s one of the ways to appreciate what God has blessed them with.
The head pastor for the Pentecost church in Damongo, Rev. Prince Osi commended Mr Emeka for the good gesture and asked for God’s continuous blessings upon him in his businesses and all endeavors for him to continue to support the vulnerable in the church.
Emylink enterprise deals in motorbike spare parts, motorbikes and tricycles of different brands and manages Damongo based musician, Tom Taylor.
