The Municipal Chief Executive for the West Gonja Municipal Assembly in the Savannah region has on Monday 15th November, 2021, extended his earnest message of goodwill to all candidates in the ongoing Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) 2021 within the west Gonja Municipality.
A total of 906 candidates are sitting for this year’s examination in the Municipality comprising of 462 boys and 444 girls from thirty (30) Junior High Schools.
Hon. Musah Kusubari commended the candidates for the hard work, perseverance and dedications put out throughout their studying period and explained that, this trying moment forms part of the hedges in their educational cycle and must be embraced with all seriousness, boldness and victory as it also determines what the future holds for them.
He urged the candidates to comply with all the laid down rules and regulations guiding the examinations and do away with any forms of examination malpractices and tackle the questions with courage and passion.
The MCE also called on the candidates to stay focused and work harder towards achieving a brighter future that would enable them build a comfortable life for themselves as anyone of them in the future could occupy his position as MCE and in other Fields of work in the country.
He noted that the Member of Parliament for Damongo, Hon. lawyer Abu Jinapor has put in so much resources to prepare them for this examinations ranging from Mathematical sets, organizing extra classes, feeding for candidates and has also taken care of the transportation cost of those coming from far.
He wished them the best of luck in their examinations and asked for a prayer for God’s guidance on them throughout the examinations.
Kusubari Musah was there with the Municipal Coordinating Director Philemon Ankorley, the Director for Ghana Education and other staff.
