A businesswoman, a farmer and an engineer have become the latest beneficiaries of MTN Ghana’s 30th anniversary reward promotion, each driving home a brand-new Toyota Land Cruiser Prado after being selected as winners of the MTN@30 promotion.
The three winners, Faustina Asante, Mahama Wasila and Alidu Tanko received the keys to their vehicles at a colourful prize presentation held at Kejetia in Kumasi on September 16, 2026.

The event formed part of celebrations marking MTN Ghana’s 30th anniversary and represented the second major prize presentation under the three-month MTN@30 promotion.
According to MTN Ghana, the three customers did not have to undertake any special registration or enter a separate competition to qualify. Their points were accumulated automatically through their regular use of MTN services, including calls, data purchases and Mobile Money transactions.

Speaking at the presentation, Sandra Oduro Antwi, Senior Manager for Consumer Marketing at MTN Ghana, said the promotion was the company’s way of expressing appreciation to customers who have supported the brand throughout its 30-year journey.
“This milestone belongs not to MTN alone, but to the more than 32 million Ghanaians who have made MTN part of their lives,” she said.
For Mahama Wasila, a farmer from the Northern Region, the prize came as a major surprise.

She said she had simply continued her normal routine of purchasing airtime and data and conducting financial transactions on her phone, without imagining that those activities could result in winning a Prado.
“I never imagined that I could win something like this, but by God’s grace, I have won this,” she said.
Faustina Asante, a businesswoman, also expressed excitement over her prize. She said she first learnt about the MTN@30 promotion on TikTok and subsequently continued using MTN services, including conducting most of her business transactions through MoMo and purchasing substantial amounts of data bundles for her loved ones.
She encouraged other MTN customers to participate in future promotions and remain hopeful about the opportunities available.

MTN Ghana says the MTN@30 promotion will reward up to 30,000 customers with prizes ranging from brand-new Toyota Land Cruiser Prados to cash prizes of up to GH¢30,000.
A total of nine Prados are scheduled to be awarded, with three vehicles presented at each of the three major prize events.
The first presentation was held in Accra, with Kejetia in Kumasi hosting the second. The final major presentation is expected to take place in the coming weeks.
Samuel Arthur, Senior Specialist, Mass Segment at MTN Ghana, described the promotion as a gesture of gratitude for the support Ghanaians have given the company since it began operations in the country.
He also disclosed that independent auditing firm KPMG reviews and verifies the promotion data at every stage, which MTN says is intended to ensure transparency, fairness and integrity in the selection of winners.
The MTN@30 promotion forms part of activities marking MTN Ghana’s 30th anniversary under the theme “30 Years of Progress, Powered by You.”
The theme recognises the contribution of customers, employees, partners and other stakeholders whose loyalty and partnership have shaped MTN Ghana’s three-decade journey.
