The Member of parliament for the Damongo Constituency who doubles as the Minister for Land’s and Natural Resources Mr Samuel Abdulai Jinapor has pledge a sum of ten thousand Ghana cedis (10000 to any person who will volunteer information to the Ghana Police Service that will lead to the arrest of the alleged murder of a female police officer who is believed to be his girlfriend in the Savannah Regional Capital Damongo.
This was brought to light when the MP delegated the Savannah Regional Minister Hon. Saed Muhazu Jibriel, and some executives of the New Patriotic Party NPP in Damongo Constituency to offer their support and as well sympathize with the Ghana Police Service and the distance family of the diseased.
According to the regional minister, the Member of Parliament for the Damongo Constituency Lawyer Samuel Abdulai Jinapor made available to them a cash donation of 5 thousand Ghana cedis (5000 ghc) to be given to the immediate family of the late Sandra and another 5 thousand Ghana cedis (5000 ghc) to the Ghana Police Service in other to help both parties give a befitting burial to the late Sandra Aseidu.
The Savannah Regional Police Commander DCOP Enock Bediako Adu-Twum on behalf of the IGP accepted the cash donation to the Police Service and was thankful to the MP and the delegation for not abandoned them in times like this.
He then called on the general public to help the Police in the look out for the alleged murder who currently in the run.
He further stated that the police is in talks with the diseased family towards the funeral arrangement for late Sandra.
DCOP Bediako then pledged the commitment of the Ghana police service in apprehending the alleged killer of late Sandra.
The gruesome murder of late police officer Miss Sandra Aseidu took place in her rented room which is few meters away from the Savannah Regional Police head quarters.
