The President and Chief Executive Officer of MTN Group, Ralph Mupita, has reaffirmed the company’s strong commitment to Ghana’s digital transformation following a successful three-day working visit to the country.
During his visit, Mr. Mupita emphasized MTN’s dedication to leading digital solutions that drive Africa’s progress. He announced that MTN plans to invest US$1.1 billion over the next three years to strengthen network infrastructure and improve service delivery across Ghana.

The investment is expected to enhance connectivity, expand digital services, and support Ghana’s growing demand for reliable telecommunications services. According to Mr. Mupita, the move forms part of MTN’s broader strategy to accelerate digital inclusion and economic growth across the continent.
The visit also provided an opportunity for high-level engagements with key stakeholders including the minister for communication, reaffirming MTN’s long-term partnership with Ghana and its commitment to supporting national development goals.
