The West Gonja Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Musah Karim Kusubari, has secured a brand new Metro Mass Transit Bus exclusively for the convenience of Damongo residents and its surrounding areas.
In an announcement made during a phone call, the MCE clarified that the bus won’t follow the previous route of transporting passengers from Damongo to Tamale and other towns. Instead, it will be stationed in Tamale to exclusively serve the people of Damongo.
According to the MCE, this initiative aims to cater to the local transportation needs of the people of Damongo.
He added that the bus will load at the GPRTU station in Damongo and at the Metro Mass Transit bus stop in Tamale, with a fare of Ghc 30.00.
He encouraged residents to take advantage of the opportunity and maximize the benefits of this new transportation option.
The bus’s schedule includes a 5:30am reporting time in Damongo and a 6:30am departure daily, while the departure time from Tamale will be communicated at a later date.
