UEW-GRASAG ELECTIONS: KAMARA TO CONTEST AS ORGANISING SECRETARY.

Mr. Ismeal Abdul Fatawu Kamara, an MPhil in Political Science student of the University of education, Winneba has declared his intentions to contest for the position of Organizing secretary for Graduate students Association of Ghana.

The aspiring Organising Secretary in a phone interview with this source said, he was ready to work in the interest of the entire student body and promised to.also focus on developing students research skills.

‘The development of students research skills is at my core derive to serve the graduate students’ he added.

Mr. Kamara also pledges to collaborate with co-executives and other organizations to roll out programs that will be tailored towards improving the research ability and welfare of students.

Mr. Ismeal Abdul Fatawu has served as President, National Association of Gonjaland Students(NAGS)-Ghana, President, Students Legal Society, UEW, Majority Leader, Political Science Students Association, UEW, Political Science Students Vetting committee member, Department of Political Science, UEW, Disciplinary and Ethics Committee(Students Bar Association) member, UEW, Member Student Local Assembly, UEW-SRC, Constitutional and Legal Affairs of POSA, Chairman, Department of Political Science, Financial Committee Member, National Association of Gonjaland Students (NAGS) UEW, Constitutional Review Committee of POSA,member, Department of political science and Constitutional Review Committee, Economics Department, UEW

He pledges to use the experience acquired in serving in the various student leadership positions over the years to help drive and promote capacity building of every student.

‘As an experience student activist, human rights advocate, student leadership, promoter of women empowerment and working in different facets of life makes me an ideal candidate’ he said.

He therefore said after gaining much experience in the various position he has served and carefully assessment with broader consultation, he there declares his intention to contest as GRASAG-UEW Organising Secretary for 2021/2022 elections.

He prayed for unflinching support and guidance throughout this electioneering period of UEW-GRASAG.
