The Member of Parliment for Salaga South Constituency Hon. Hajia Zuwera Mohammed Ibrahimah has formally extended her commendations and congratulations to the entire staff and students of Salaga Senior High School (SASS) in her Constituency for emerging winners of this year’s Senior High Schools Renewable Energy Challenge Competition (SHSREC) held on Thursday, 22nd July 2020 in the Savannah Regional Capital of Damongo.
In a letter cited by this site and signed by the Salaga South legislator, it reads;
” I have received refreshing news of your brilliant performance at this year’s Senior High Schools Renewable Energy Challenge Competition (SHSREC) held on Thursday, 22nd July 2021 in the Savannah Regional Capital of Damongo on various news portals and social media. Your school scored 71.33 points to beat five other competing schools namely; Damongo SHS, Bole SHS, Tuna SHS, Buipe SHS and T.I.Amass in the competition. As the Member of Parliment for Salaga South Constituency, I wish to use to this opportunity to officially congratulate your school and commend the creative thinking demonstrated by the students in their presentation on Wind Turbine “.
The Salaga South lawmaker reiterated her readiness and willingness to work with all relevant stakeholders in the Salaga South Constituency and Municipality to promote quality education.
