Hon. Alhassan Abdallah Iddi, the Member of Parliament for Salaga North constituency in the Savannah Region has fulfilled a promise by generously donating fifty (50) brand new motorbikes to all 50 polling stations within his constituency.
The lawmaker’s thoughtful gesture was carried out on Monday 11th September, 2023, following a similar act of support earlier in the year when he provided motorbikes to 12 electoral area coordinators.
According to him, the donation is aimed at aiding the polling station executives in their crucial roles within the constituency.
Hon. Alhassan Abdallah Iddi emphasized his commitment to strengthening party structures to ensure the consolidation of achievements from the previous elections, and striving to secure the “break the eight” victory that party members eagerly anticipate.
He encouraged patience among the polling station executives, recognizing that development is a gradual process rather than an instantaneous event.
He also expressed gratitude towards Ing. Dr. Clifford Braimah, who played a significant role in some of his constituency interventions, and urged the executives to pray for his continued well-being and protection.
Alhaji Mahama, the constituency chairman extended appreciation on behalf of the polling station executives and appealed for continued support to retain the seat in the upcoming 2024 elections.
He also advised the executives to utilize the donated motorbikes effectively to achieve the desired results.
