Ndewura Jakpa Savannah fc, a Division Two League club based in Damongo in the Savannah region, will play as guest to Mole Nationals fc this Saturday at the Damongo Astro Turf Pitch to start their 2022/23 Division Two League in the Zone Five ‘B’ (5B).
Ndewura Jakpa Savannah fc are aiming for the top spot to enable them qualify to play in the sub-middle league and subsequently to the middle league.
Ndewura Jakpa Savannah fc, Yagbon Stars and Mole Nationals fc from Damongo, Nanumba Soccer Boys and Savannah RFC from Laribanga, and, Wasipey United from Daboya will compete for places in the Zone 5B of the Northern Regional Football Association’s Division Two League which commences in the zone on Friday, January 27, 2023.
The match week one fixtures will kick start on Friday at the Laribanga Astro Turf when Nanumba Soccer Boys fc welcomes Wasipey United from Daboya, with Mole Nationals taking on Ndewura Jakpa Savannah fc on Saturday while Savannah RFC hosts Yagbon Stars on Sunday at Laribanga Astro Turf.
Last season’s zone 5B league saw Mole Nationals fc topping the zone after ending the zonal matches unbeaten.
