The leadership of the National Association of Gonjaland Students,UEW in the company of some National executives has yesterday Saturday 17th July, 2021 paid a courtesy call on the Chief of Effutu Nana Nenyi Ghartey VII this second semester.
The Kantama led administration visited Nana Neenyi Ghartey VII last semester to familiarize and also seek his blessings, support and advice to aide in running a smooth and an all inclusive administration. The leadership pledged to make it a habit of visiting the Chief to continue to strengthen the bond that exist between the Gonjaland students Association on campus and the Effutu Chief.
The executive board used the opportunity to present a beautiful Daboya made Gonja smock to Nana Neenyi Ghartey VII as our token as student leaders in appreciation to him for always honouring his promise of being there for us anytime we call on him. We believe that, it’s an opportunity to strengthen our relationship with the palace to pave way for other executives to fall on the Palace whenever the need arises.
Nana Neeyi Ghartey VII welcomed the visit wholeheartedly and thanked the leadership for their continuous visit and brotherhood. As usual of him, he admonished members through the leadership to take their academics seriously since that is the primary goal of leaving our homes to Winneba. He further thanked the executives for designing such a beautiful smock for him.
Nana pledged his support to the leadership and members anytime the need be.
