The Naada Jinapor Foundation, a non-governmental organization committed to enhancing healthcare in the Damongo constituency, has generously donated a variety of essential drugs to some selected health facilities in the area.
This initiative is part of the Foundation’s ongoing efforts to support and improve healthcare delivery in the Damongo constituency.
The donation was made on behalf of the Foundation’s CEO, Mrs. Naada Jinapor, who is also the wife of Damongo Member of Parliament, Hon. Samuel Abu Jinapor.
The delegation, led by Hajia Ubaida Nurudeen, presented the drugs to the beneficiary health centers, underscoring the Foundation’s commitment to the well-being of the people of the Damongo constituency.
Speaking after the donation, Hajia Ubaida highlighted the Foundation’s deep concern for the health and well-being of the people in the constituency.
She stressed that the donation is part of a broader initiative to ensure that the people of Damongo have access to necessary medical supplies, particularly as the farming season approaches its peak.
“This is not the first time the Foundation, under the leadership of Mrs. Naada Jinapor, is undertaking such a project. The Foundation has consistently worked towards improving healthcare in Damongo, and this latest gesture is a testament to our ongoing commitment,” Hajia Ubaida said.
In addition to the basic drugs provided, the Naada Jinapor Foundation also procured anti-snake venoms to address potential snake bites, a common risk as farming activities intensify. This proactive measure is aimed at ensuring that the health facilities are well-equipped to handle such emergencies during the farming season.
The health facilities that benefited from this donation include the Larabanga, Murugu, Mognori, Grupe, and Kabanpe Health Centers.
Representatives from these facilities, along with their health committees and community leaders, expressed their profound gratitude to the Foundation, Mrs. Naada Jinapor and Hon. Samuel Abu Jinapor for their continuous support.
“We are extremely grateful for this timely donation,” one of the health facility representatives remarked. “These drugs will greatly enhance our ability to provide quality healthcare to our community members. We assure the Foundation that the drugs will be used efficiently for their intended purpose.”
The Naada Jinapor Foundation team that facilitated the donation included key members such as Seidu Rafia, Yussif Huzeifa, Mr. Abdin, Madam Munira, and Miss Janet Rhule, who serves as the secretary to Mrs. Naada Jinapor.
This latest act of benevolence by the Naada Jinapor Foundation continues to solidify its reputation as a key partner in the development of the Damongo constituency, particularly in the area of healthcare. The Foundation’s ongoing contributions are expected to have a lasting impact on the health and well-being of the people in the constituency.
