The wife of the Member of Parliament for Damongo and Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, Mrs Naada Jinapor and Naada Foundation has on Saturday, 18th December, 2021, organized a free medical outreach program for Children at Larabanga in the West Gonja municipality of the savannah Region.
In an interview with this source, Mrs Naada Jinapor explained that the Naada Foundation has over the years provided free health care screening for the people of the constituency and has continued with this medical outreach for children in Larabanga and other adjoining communities to enable them access primary health care at their doorsteps.
The founder and Chief Executive Officer for the Naada foundation added that, she was so excited with the number of children who turnout for the exercise and that it was not a misplaced decision choosing laribanga community for such a benevolent intervention which was aimed at improving on the health of the children in Larabanga and it’s environs.
She assured that her foundation will not end the health screening at laribanga but will continue to visit various parts of the constituency for similar outreach programs to ensure that lives are touched.
Mrs Naada Jinapor urged the people in the Damongo Constituency to remain united and loving as the days of politics are over and rally behind her husband with prayers to be able to do more for the people in the constituency and also expressed her gratitude to the team of doctors and medical personnels who volunteered their services to the success of the program.
The wife of the Mp also disclosed that, some of the women who were diagnosed of different breast cancer and it’s related diseases during the breast cancer screening in October 2021, during the breast cancer awareness week celebration are receiving treatment at the West Gonja hospital in Damongo and all their medical bills will be settled by her foundation.
The Assembly Member for Laribanga area, Hon. Karim Amidu thanked the Naada foundation and Mrs Naada Jinapor for considering Laribanga for such an exercise.
Hon K.K said he is so happy for the children within his electoral area as many of them were screened and given drugs as per the proscriptions of the Medical Doctors. This will go a long way to strengthen the health and well-being of the children in the area.
A total of about 559 children in Larabanga and some adjoining communities benefited from the Naada foundation’s touching lives and making a difference medical outreach program with a mobile dispensary filled to capacity with the needed medications.
