The member of parliament for Damongo and Minister for lands and natural resources, Samuel Abu Jinapor is supporting farmers in his constituency with fertilizer and other agriculture inputs to help enhance agriculture in the area.
Among the farm inputs being distributed to farmers in the constituency under Mr. Jinapor’s agricultural support program include: Agro chemicals (condemn), fertilizer cutlasses and others.
In the year 2020, the then deputy chief of staff and now MP for Damongo in his 2020 campaign said supporting farmers in the constituency was his topmost priority as it will help enhance rural development and alleviate poverty in agricultural communities under the Damongo constituency.
After winning the Damongo parliamentary seat, he has been on top of his promises especially in the areas of Agriculture to the betterment of the lives of the people in his constituency.
Abu Jinapor who doubles as the Minister for lands and Natural Resources has since 2021 supported farmers in his constituency with fertilizer, Agro chemicals, cutlasses, wallington boots and farm tractors to help reduce the high cost of ploughing that has bedeviled farmers in his constituency in recent times.
His support is aimed at ensuring that farmers in the area have access to the necessary farm inputs to ensure higher yields of their farm produce.
