The Ministry of Communications and digitalization as part of it’s girls in ICT project on Monday, 8th May, 2023 held a mentorship program for participants of the ministry’s girls in ICT program in the savannah region.

The mentorship was focused on etiquette and other related topics of importance to encourage and empower the girls to pursue careers in the ICT field.

Etiquette is the customary code of polite behaviour in society or among members of a particular profession or group and an important aspect of professional development , it is especially relevant in the ICT field where communication and collaboration are key to success.

The aim of the mentorship program organised for the girls by the Ministry of Communication is to help prepare the girls for successful careers in ICT.

The girls in ICT program has given the selected girls an opportunity to learn important skills such as coding, software development, cybersecurity, and data analysis.

By providing mentorship for these girls, the Ministry of Communications is helping to build a strong pipeline of talented and skilled girls in the ICT field.

Overall, the Ministry of Communication’s mentorship program for girls in ICT is an excellent initiative that can have a positive impact on the lives and careers of many young women in the country.
