The municipal Chief executive (MCE) for West Gonja, Musah Kusubari has joined the good of mognori in the Mole electoral area on Saturday, 15th April, 2023 to participate in iftar with the Muslim residents.
It is commendable that he joined the Muslim community in mognori in their observance of Ramadan and sharing in that important tradition with them, demonstrating his commitment to promoting interfaith understanding in the community.
Participating in iftar and providing assorted drinks for them is a significant way to show his support for the Muslim community during the month of Ramadan. By sharing in this important tradition with them, Musah Kusubari is not only building relationships with Muslims in the community but also learning more about their faith which can help to promote unity and respect among the Muslim group in the community, which is essential for building a peaceful and harmonious society.
During his visit to the area, he paid courtesy calls on some key community leaders and also interacted with party executives where he assured them of government’s commitment to bring more development to the area.
Same period last year, Hon. Musah Karim Kusubari visited some selected communities in the municipality for iftar.
The people were over joyed to have the MCE joining them to break their fast.
He is expected to join the Muslim community in Mole on Sunday for a similar activity.
He was led by the electoral area coordinator for Mole, Mr. Yussif Ibrahim and accompanied by the Damongo constituency NPP nasara coordinator, Mr. Yussif Nsorwura Ibrahim.
