Group in Gonjaland “Dankare be Lembu” has donated some office equipment to Yagbonwura Bii – Kunuto Jewu Soale I to enable him set up a functional secretariat at his palace.
Also, the group has in collaboration with the warriors of the Gonja kingdom assigned some warriors to help provide a 24/7 security services to the palace as part measures by the group to help improve security at the kings palace.
The items donated which cost thousands of Ghana included a laptop computer and it’s accessories, A4 photocopy papers, a multipurpose print, photocopy and scan machine, office table, surveil chair, router, external storage device and note books.
Speaking to this source after the presentation of the items to king on Saturday, 22nd July, 2023, the President of the group ” Dankare be Lembu”, Dr. Abdul-Karim Amati explained that the donation of the office equipment is to help set up a functional secretariat for the king at the palace to enhance the administrative activities of the palace.
He said the set up of the secretariat and the operations of the warriors who will be serving as palace guards will help improve security at the palace and also ensure that all laid down processes and protocols at the palace are fully adhered and respected according to the traditions of the Gonja people.
According to him, the equipment will provide uninterrupted internet and Secretariat services at the palace.
The Yagbonwura in receiving the items from the group, expressed his appreciation for the donation and thanked them for the gesture.
