The President of the Bole Traditional Council and Paramount Chief of the Bole Traditional Area, Bolewura Sarfo Kutuge Feso I, has expressed his delight at the appointment of a new Registrar by the Ministry of Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs.
The official introduction of Mr. Mohammed Abdulai as the Registrar took place on Friday, July 5, 2024, at the Bolewura’s Palace.
In his speech, Bolewura Sarfo Kutuge Feso I praised the Ministry’s decision, calling it a significant milestone in the Council’s history. He highlighted the importance of this appointment for the effective administration of the Council’s affairs.
Mankumawura, a member of the Bole Traditional Council, also welcomed the new Registrar, expressing pride that a grandson of Bole is now at the helm of the Council’s operations. He urged Mr. Abdulai to excel in his new role to ensure the smooth functioning of the Council.
These sentiments were echoed by other key figures present at the palace, including Sigriwura, the protocol head of the Denkeripe royal gate, and Salaawura, the protocol head of the Safope royal gate. Chiefs, elders, and Council members also unanimously welcomed the Registrar, expressing their support and optimism for his tenure.
The Bole Traditional Council is one of four newly inaugurated Traditional Councils in the Savannah region, officially established on January 26, 2023.
The inauguration was carried out by Kananpewuriche Fati Lily Soale, the former Acting Chief Director for the Ministry of Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs, on behalf of the Hon. Minister for Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs.
Alongside Bole, the other newly inaugurated Councils in 2023 include the Busunu, Wasipe, and Buipe Traditional Councils.
