The member of Parliament for Damongo and Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, Samuel Abu Jinapor has donated a Navara pickup to the Savannah regional Islamic Council to assist the day to day activities of the Council.
Presenting the pickup on behalf of the Damongo Mp at the forecourt of his constituency office in Damongo on Thursday, 27th April, 2023, the Municipal Chief Executive for West Gonja, Hon. Musah Karim Kusubari indicated that the donation of the pick-up to the council is in fulfillment of a pledge made to the Council by the MP following a request made to him during a visit to him some few months ago.
According to the West Gonja MCE, the MP is also committed to helping the Council get a befitting regional office and therefore urged them to continue to pray for him.
In receiving the vehicle, Alhaji Abubakari Kayeli on behalf of the council expressed gratitude to Allah for his mercies and extended the Council’s appreciation to the Hon. Mp and said, he kind gesture to the council is worth emulating.
He also indicated that the vehicle handed to the council will go a long way to help them in the activities of the Council.
Alhaji Abubakari further prayed for Allah’s blessings for the Damongo legislater for his benevolence and swift response to their request.
