An Assemblyman Aspirant for the Hangaline – Ngbaripe – Alhassankura electoral area in the West Gonja Municipality of the Savannah Region, Gorden Kumatey, pupularly has installed some 20 LED Street lights in his electoral area.
The installation of the LED Street lights according to the Assemblyman hopeful, forms part of his commitment to improve the security and poor lightening situation at some notable areas across the electoral area.
Alongside the installation of the new LED Street Lights, the Assemblyman hopeful has also taken steps to carried out repair works on a number of dysfunctional street lights in the area.
Gorden Kumatey also noted that the installation and repair works on all dysfunctional Street lights in the area is an ongoing process and his target at the end of the day is to fix all dysfunctional street lights in the electoral area.
Residents of the beneficiary communities which included Hangaline, Ngbaripe, Alhassankura showered praises on the aspirant and thanked him for the kind gesture, urging him to keep up the good work he has started for the Electoral Area.
Meanwhile, he has also disclosed that, he has lobbied for a brand new Transformer from the Volta River Authority for it serve the power supply needs of the people of Alhassankura following their constant power outage occurrences.
