The Apostolic Nuncio to Ghana, H. E. Henryk Mieczyslaw Jagodzinski is scheduled to embark on a pastoral visit to the Diocese of Damongo in the Savannah region from Thursday 19th, August, 2021 to 22nd August, 2021.
He will be met on arrival by the Bishop of the Damongo Diocese, Most Rev. Peter Paul Angkyier and his entourage at Bamboi in the Bole district.
His visit is the first to the Diocese since his appointment as the 10th Apostolic Nuncio to Ghana and he is expected to visit Bamboi, Bole, Sawla, Damongo, Lingbinsi and Buipe all in the Savannah Region.
The Apostolic Nuncioture to Ghana is an ecclesiastical office of the Catholic Church in Ghana and a diplomatic post of the see, whose representative is called the Apostolic Nuncio with the rank of an Ambassador.
