The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of West Gonja, Hon. Musah Karim Kusubari, accompanied by his presiding member, Hon. Mohammed Mumuni, deputy coordinating Director, Denis Osei and the Assembly member for Hangaline, Hon. Gorden Kumatey, embarked on a comprehensive inspection tour to oversee the progress of various developmental projects in Damongo.
Hon. Musah and his team’s meticulous visit aimed to assess the status of key infrastructure initiatives crucial for the socio-economic advancement of the municipality.
The inspection commenced at the Damongo weekly market in Hangaline, where Hon. Musah observed that the project was nearing completion, with work progress standing at an impressive 90%.
From there, the diligent leader proceeded to inspect ongoing works on the Galamsey Station – SAGISS road project, underscoring the significance of infrastructure enhancement in bolstering local economies and connectivity.
Hon. Musah later directed his attention to the education sector, visiting the site of the newly awarded 6-unit classroom block for the Almanara Islamic School in Ngbaripe.
The project, complemented by a 12-unit water closets toilet and borehole facilities, signifies the municipality’s commitment to improving educational infrastructure and access for its residents.
During his interactions with foremen and site engineers, Hon. Musah emphasized the importance of adherence to timelines and quality standards, urging them to expedite work to ensure timely completion of the projects.
The visit not only reaffirmed the MCE’s hands-on approach to governance but also demonstrated his unwavering commitment to fostering development across various sectors. With projects nearing fruition and new initiatives underway, Damongo stands poised to witness transformative progress under the visionary leadership of Hon.
